After learning so much about bridges, their structures, support joints etc from interviewing an employee of the NI Bridge Department we worked in teams to create bridges from newspaper! We initially thought Mrs McNamee was going mad! However after some investigating we soon discovered that we could build bridges from newspaper which were strong enough to hold an apple... and even more in some cases!
