To conclude our Bridges topic we worked in pairs to plan and build a bridge on Minecraft. This activity involved mathematical thinking, ICT skills, team work, decision making and recapping our previous knowledge of bridge structures, construction and materials.
After a Q&A session with a member of the Bridge Department in the Department for Infrastructure NI we gained some excellent knowledge and understanding of the planning and construction of bridges in Northern Ireland. We are extremely proud (and so is Mrs McNamee!) of our finished products. Have a look yourself!
